About Us!

This page is about Psycho, Bella, Max and Twinkie. Their likes, dislikes, each of their personalities and much more. Hope you enjoy reading this!

Psycho is the old man of the gang. He is about 5 years old and is a grouch. He totally fits his name. We rescued him from the local animal shelter here in Rolla Missouri back in June of 2001. He has been neutered since then and has been a pretty happy dog. He has a crazy personality! He can be as sweet as can be on moment and the next he can be trying to tear your hand off. He is a nut. He does not like to have his picture taken at all. He would rather eat the camera then let it flash. When we got him he was a "lost" dog we assumed. Someone had put up found adds and no one had claimed him so the person how put the adds up took him to the animal shelter. As soon as I found out he was there I went straight over and adopted him! We were very lucky to have found him! He has been a great addition to our family and we love him more then anything!

Bella Nanita (Name Meaning: Beautiful Little Girl) is the 2nd oldest in the gang. She is almost 2 years old. She was born on May 5th 2002. We were getting a Chihuahua for my in-laws when we went to a reputable breeder that I have known for many years and she had Bella also. Bella was only 8 weeks old when we got her. The woman brought her out and I went nuts! She was so tiny and so cute. She looked like a little black and white rat! I just had to have her, so we took her home along with my in-laws Chihuahua! She is a sweetheart. From what I always heard "You don't choose your Chihuahua, Your Chihuahua chooses you", well she has choose my husband and myself. She is "Our" dog. She loves both of us the same. She protects us from people she doesn't know. If our kids come in and play like they are going to hit us she will growl at them. She is very overly protective. But she has never bitten anyone that hasn't deserved it. She is a little timid at times and is always freezing! She always wants under the covers or your shirt when you are sitting around. She HATES sweaters. She stiffens up and won't move if you put one on her. lol But she is a doll! She is another wonderful addition to our family! We love her to pieces!

Max is the 3rd oldest and the craziest of the gang. He is a 5 month old long hair Chihuahua. We got him from the same breeder we got Bella from. She is the ONLY breeder we will buy from. We go to her home where we can see her puppies and how she takes care of her dogs. She takes very good care of her animals. I always seen the horror stories of puppy mills and was scared to buy from a breeder so she had invited us out to see her breeding area. It is wonderful!!  Anyway, Max is a Mama's boy! He chose me as his "owner" and he goes nuts when I am not here. But upon my arrival home he starts jumping all over me licking me jumping on my head and just being crazy! He is a awesome little guy! He had a sister named Missy that we had purchased with him when we got him but she has passed away in January due to a misfortunate accident. Right after we lost her we got our 4th Chihuahua Twinkie to help him get through the grief of his sisters loss. I will talk about her in a little bit. You can see Missy's Memorial Page on the website. Max and Twinkie are the trouble makers of the house. They love to get into everything they aren't suppose to! The cat box, ack!, the napkins, toilet paper, anything they can tear up and make mommy and daddy clean up they will get ahold of. They are little turds! He has been a great addition to our home. He has made it hectic!

Twinkie is our baby and our "Princess". She is a 3 month old double coat Chihuahua. We also got her from the same breeder we got Bella and Max. We have had her since she was 7 weeks old and she has gotten soooo big! As you can see I called her Princess. The reason behind this is she thinks she is one. She thinks she should get everything she wants when she wants. If she doesn't get it she will have a fit and start barking and yelping at you. She is a funny little girl. If she wants a spot where any of our other Chi's are sitting she will bark and whine at them until they move and she will take their spot and be happy. She is a daddy's girl. She loves her daddy more then anything. She is always laying with him and sleeping with him. It's pretty cute. We love all of our babies the same. They all have their own personalities that make them special! They are wonderful! I would recommend anyone who has the time and patients to deal with a Chihuahua to get one. They need a lot of love and attention and if you think you can give them that go get yourself one! We are glad we did!

A little something about all of them.

This part I am going talk about how they act as a group. Psycho is usually off sleeping somewhere most of the time because he doesn't really like to play anymore. He is getting to old now I think. Sometimes he will pop up and chase a pup around. But one thing with them when it comes to all of them, they LOVE their treats! You can't say or SPELL the word treat! They CAN SPELL! It is so funny! I was talking to Andy, my husband one day and spelled treat out so they wouldn't know what we were getting ready to give them and they went nuts! It was hilarious! They all starting jumping around and looking for their treats! So since then we have to call them snack until they figure that one out. Another thing the love is going outside. We let them out and they fly all over the place. Run all over the yard. Back and forth, from tree to tree. Everywhere! One thing I have noticed about Chihuahua's, they listen very well. My babies have NEVER ran into the street. They start that way and I yell no and they come right back. They are very smart little critters! They are just wonderful! We would NEVER give them up for nothing! We are planning on getting more sometime in the future, if not, we are going to breed Bella and Max and keep their babies. We haven't figured it out yet. But you guys will be the first to know when we decide! We will be posting! Hope you enjoyed this little story telling! There will be more again soon!
